“KEEP TRUCKING BABES”
Discover My Journey A Voice for the Underdogs
As a former foster child, I made it my mission to stand with the underdogs to be a voice for the women, children, youth and at-risk youth who’ve ever felt unseen or left behind.
I believe every woman and young girl deserves a real chance not to be judged, overlooked, or pushed aside but to be seen, supported, and celebrated.
I to know what it feels like to be counted out, to be rejected, to be underestimated. As a former foster child, a woman behind the wheel in a male-dominated industry, and an entrepreneur who had to create her own lane I understand the power of opportunity, representation, and community.
Trucking in High Heels (TIHH)
In 2021, I founded and trademarked Trucking in High Heels (TIHH) not just as a brand, but as a safe haven for women ready to rewrite their stories. TIHH was created to empower, educate, and elevate women & young girls by giving them the tools, mentorship, and inspiration to become their own definition of unstoppable. Through workshops, coaching, and sisterhood, I help women step into entrepreneurship and leadership with confidence reminding them that they can be both soft and strong, feminine and focused, graceful and gritty.
Mothers Who Care Foundation (MWCF)
In 2024, I founded Mothers Who Care Foundation (MWCF), a nonprofit born straight from my heart my “why.” This foundation represents the part of my story that needed healing: the mother, the nurturer, and the girl who once needed a village. MWCF exists to serve mothers, youth, and families through compassion, resources, and community outreach. It’s my way of giving back to the women and children who feel unseen or left behind providing hope, empowerment, and real support that changes lives.
Together, TIHH and MWCF are more than organizations they’re movements. They are the bridges between pain and purpose, reminding others that what was once meant to break you can be the very thing that builds you.
"For a long time, I thought recognition validated my direction that if I worked harder, maybe I’d finally feel “enough.” But now I know this was never about validation. This was all about my purpose.
This is my life’s work helping others rise, rebuild, and believe again.
From Pain to Purpose
My journey hasn't been picture perfect it was purpose that shaped me.
I grew up in foster care, carrying trash bags from one home to another, searching for stability. I didn’t have much, but I had faith. It wasn't until my Gma and Gdad got me out of the foster care system that I knew what stability felt like again.
Today, as an author, mentor, coach, consultant, creative and investor, I help women turn their ideas into impact. Whether it’s entrepreneurship, contracting, financial literacy, or business ownership I’m all about teaching people how to move differently and build intentionally.
This work isn’t about success or for show it’s about creating access, building systems of opportunity, and empowering those who’ve been unseen or unheard to finally rise, lead, and leave a legacy.
As a Certified Small Business Advisor with Waubonsee Community College’s SBDC, I’ve helped over 40 entrepreneurs launch or scale their businesses many of them women, single mothers, and men seeking new beginnings.
I don’t teach theory. I teach transformation.
From business models to mindset shifts, I help people align vision with strategy and turn belief into bold action.
Sisterhood, Mentorship & Legacy
For me, mentorship isn’t just about business it’s about becoming the bridge for another woman who’s still finding her way. It’s about reminding her that she’s not alone, that her story still holds power, and that healing and success can coexist.
Sisterhood is how we rise together, stronger, wiser, and unbreakable.
Somewhere along my journey, I had a realization & that was that I needed a me.
I needed someone to see my potential before I did, to pour into me when I was empty, to remind me that I was capable of becoming everything I once prayed for. That revelation became the heartbeat behind my mission to be that woman for others. With TIHH, I created just that a safe haven for others to feel seen and heard.
My work doesn’t stop with women and young girls I also mentor young men & men, because real community isn’t one-sided. We rise together.
There’s nothing more powerful than seeing someone light up when they finally recognize their own potential. That’s what drives me creating spaces where confidence grows, dreams are nurtured, and legacies are born.
MY MISSION, MY WHY
When my grandmother, Georgia, suffered two devastating strokes, everything shifted. Not long after, I lost my corporate job and found myself standing at a crossroads do I go back to a job, or do I finally create my own lane? It wasn’t some grand miracle; it was real life.
We couldn’t find reliable transportation to get her to her medical appointments, and in that moment, something clicked. I didn’t just see a problem I saw purpose staring back at me.
That’s when I decided to take my years of logistics experience and combine them with my healthcare background. A once-known CNA/PCT, I knew firsthand the challenges families faced when caring for loved ones " I was one of them". After watching my grandmother struggle, I made a promise to build something that would not only help her, but help others like her in our community.
In 2010, I bought my first van. That single act of love and faith birthed a transportation company that now provides thousands of rides each year to veterans, seniors, children, and individuals with disabilities.
What started in pain turned into purpose and that purpose became the foundation for everything I do today.
My Message
No matter what comes your way, take a breath, adjust your crown, and keep trucking, babe.
“When community meets purpose, healing begins, hope is restored, and generations are changed.”
